Mid-Year School Supplies Drive

We're going to kick off 2015 with part two of our school supplies mission project.

We're motivated to do this because school leaders have told us that the supplies donated at the beginning of school do not last the whole year. The families of many Longdale Elementary students are struggling financially and could really use the helping hand.

The supply list is available here. Please bring your donations to the sanctuary. We'll conclude the collection on Sunday Feb. 8, and deliver the supplies just prior to Valentine’s Day

Be still, and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth. - Psalm 46:10 (NRSV)

Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as you ever can.  -- Attributed to Methodist Founder John Wesley

As the people of God, we are called to develop our faith through the understanding of God’s love and to be a church dedicated to prayer.

We believe that Christ is calling us to serve by being present and welcoming to all, regardless of ethnic, cultural or economic background.

God calls us to give our time, talent and monetary resources to proclaim effectively the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
