School Supplies Drive 2015

Every year, Greenwood partners with Longdale Elementary School to provide paper, pencils, notebooks, crayons and so forth for those pupils whose families aren't able to provide these things. Many stores already have their school supplies sales underway, so buy and contribute now and avoid the rush. Bring your donations to the Sanctuary throughout August. Click here to see and download a list of required supplies. The list has been augmented since last year.

Food Donation Connection

Greenwood continues to help feed the hungry in Glen Allen through our distribution of free food every Friday at 6 p.m.

Food is collected from participating restaurants by church members. The August pick up rotation schedule is posted in the narthex and available online here.

As the people of God, we are called to develop our faith through the understanding of God’s love and to be a church dedicated to prayer.

We believe that Christ is calling us to serve by being present and welcoming to all, regardless of ethnic, cultural or economic background.

God calls us to give our time, talent and monetary resources to proclaim effectively the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
