Brunswick Stew and Fall Festival

Greenwood's Brunswick Stew and Fall Festival is now in the record books and was it ever a success. At last count, we took in over $3,400 from stew, bake and yard sales, silent auction and so on. More is coming in. Funds we collect from our fair go to support our missionary in Cambodia, Clara Biswis as well as other missions and church programs.

We still have a few quarts of that delicious stew left, but supply is limited. Get yours today at the church for only $8 a quart.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this year's successful Festival! Here's the results as of October 29:

Be still, and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth. - Psalm 46:10 (NRSV)

Each time you face a choice today, pause for a few seconds to consider how your decision can serve God's purposes.

Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as you ever can.  -- Attributed to Methodist Founder John Wesley

As the people of God, we are called to develop our faith through the understanding of God’s love and to be a church dedicated to prayer.

We believe that Christ is calling us to serve by being present and welcoming to all, regardless of ethnic, cultural or economic background.

God calls us to give our time, talent and monetary resources to proclaim effectively the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
